“Piece of Money”
“You have a piece of money by your foot daddy!”
– Benjamin Filias, after seeing a quarter fall out of my pants pocket this morning.
I absolutely love and cherish the little things that Benjamin says.
Other things he’s said that I think are awesome:
“It dos” — instead of “it does”.
“Papa Tone” — instead of “Tone”, my brother’s cat who lives at my parents’ house.
“Be careful daddy!” — when he sees me using things like knives and scissors, because Michelle told him those things are dangerous.

Fun in Chicago
Look at how much fun Benjamin and Ellie were having in the hotel!
We had a wonderful trip this past weekend, meeting up with Dave, Sarah, and Ellie, to spend a day at the Brookfield Zoo and spend some time in the hotel while the kids played and also along the Lake Michigan seashore in downtown Chicago. There, we were able to meet up with Mark and his nearly 3 year old daughter, Reese. What a cutie!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Benjamin!
I can’t believe you’ve already been here for 2 years!!! You’ve completely changed my life, all for the better. I look forward to you, year after year, and I’m even looking forward to how amazing you’re going to be as a big brother!
