What does 4 16 oz. glasses of Molson Canadian + the lack of proper amounts of H20 give you? M I G R A C I O U S ! ! ! What is migracious, you ask? It’s a frickin’ migraine headache. The good news: It’s not a completely debilitating one! It is the kind you can take two Excedrin’s and drink a cup of coffee to cure! Phew!
Pepe and Sarah
They’re here! It was a good time last night. I think Pepe and Sarah were a little tired. We had to swing by Costco to grab 3 cases of water. Michelle called shortly before I left for the airport to tell me that Shelby Township had a boil water advisory! Not again! Damn it! So we went to Costco to get water. I was almost “shifted” (I’ll explain later) when I found Costco was out of the 35 pack of 16.9 bottles of Ice Mountain water we normally get. However, I peeked into the back room, and low and behold, they had a pallet of half-eaten cases! Yippee! No shift! We got home and started sucking down beers and watched the MTV Video Music Awards! It was a damn good show. I got to see my current favorite artist, 50 Cent perform P.I.M.P. with one of my other favorites, Snoop Dogg! It was a fun performance. The stage was filled with these cats dressed up in pimp outfits! It was awesome! We missed the beginning of the show, which we’ll have to catch later, which had Britney Spears and Christina Aguillera performing “Like a Virgin” as a tribute to Madonna. Later, Madonna locked lips with the two young divas! I’ll have to make sure to catch that part of the show!

Sometimes it’s kind of fun to work past 5pm. Today, I’m going to stay here until about 7PM, then head over to the airport to pick up Pepe! I get to listen to 50 Cent, out loud, laugh louder, etc.
AximSite.com
I’ve been kind of obsessed the last two days with how much more populare AximSite.com is than AximUsers.com. What can you do? You can only do as much as you put into it, right? I need to push harder to get my site out there. I was doing it much more during the winter months and spring months, but the summer has pretty much taken me over. With lifting, running, school, and work…I’ve had little energy to push the site out to the masses. Well, that has to change! I am looking at new ways to get the site more traffic and more revenue! For example, it looks like PocketPC Magazine and AximSite.com have a pretty heavy partnership. The Dell Axim forum category, although small, seems to be a big deal. As soon as people go there, the AximSite logo is right there, in front of them. I need to work out something with PocketPCThoughts, perhaps, but I think AximSite beat me to having a relationship with them already. I’ll think of something!

Pepe and Sarah are coming back into town this evening. Their plane comes in at 7:44PM. Should be a fun weekend. We’ll probably just hang out and watch the MTV Video Music Awards. They start at 8PM. I’m kind of sad we’ll miss the beginning, but they re-air it at 11:30PM. This way, we can see the big opening act which has Britney Spears marrying Madonna, with a slew (possibly) of other big-named peeps involved! Tomorrow, I’m going to come into work about 3 hours, to get my hours up to something respectable. Gurnip was going to have a vacation day, but it was made pretty clear that they need her tomorrow. She might also have to come in on Sunday a little bit. I would, if I had to. Kind of sucks, since we have guests in town, but I’m a good entertainer, on my own!
I had my Yahoo! draft last night. It was super exciting! Mariner and Kinski came over for dinner, and the draft. They showed us pictures of their Alaskan honeymoon (will be online tonight), and pictures of their condo in Boston. Looks super exciting! I hope that Michelle and I can, one day, have an adventure, outside of The D. The draft, back to it, was awesome. The picks were only 90 seconds each, or less. It made the draft go extremely fast! We loved it. It was so fast, you didn’t even have a chance to blink or plan out who you want to draft in terms of bye weeks. I also set it to 3 reserves, to make the league a bit more exciting in terms of transactions. I say the word EXCITING quit a bit.
5 mile run:
Contemplating skipping the 5 mile run this week. But we may do it on Saturday morning, before Jesse’s wedding reception. Not sure I really “need” to do the 5 miles, but if it helps, it helps. Right?
