Oh yeah, had my first Accounting exam in my pursuit of an MBA. Got a 41/50… not so bad considering how much time I put into it. Although, I’d have loved to get a 45+ on it. Oh well. My wife, however, she kicked a$$ and got a 48/50. She’s smart, and good at school. I’m a slacker.

Hello friends. Things have been quite busy for me as of late. I’ve been fairly busy with some web work over the past few weeks, and have been really busy trying to get Axim Users Dot Com off the ground. It’s taking off much better than I had anticipated, and as a result, I haven’t been paying much attention to my Blog. I should at least write a little something here or there, though.
Also, the funeral last weekend really hurt… hard to get going this week, but I managed, and so did the rest of my family.
You know, what’s going on with Iraq? From the looks of things, the U.S. is starting to get backing for attacking Iraq again. Our good friend Mr. Blair, always by our side. What a stand-up kind of guy!!
I just LOVE these Shuttle small form factor PCs!!! I am DEFINITELY going to buy one for my wife, Michelle. She deserves it. She deserves a sleek and sexy PC to use. I don’t want her to have to have a midsize tower, or even a big 19″ CRT. She deserves this SFF PC and a 17″ LCD soon. Just gotta get a job!!!
And on that note, I have two interviews next week. Let’s hope something good comes of it.

It’s been a pretty rough week, filled with good news and bad news.
The good news: It was my birthday on January 23. Axim Users Dot Com has started to take off, with over 300 users registered now! A few websites, mainly Pocket PC Thoughts, posted a small blurb on my site, drawing nearly 100 users over to my site. Thanks Pocket PC Thoughts, and thanks to the other, smaller sites, who mentioned my site on their home page or in their discussion forums.
The bad news: My dear aunt Sophia passed away on January 22. She was my dad’s only remaining sister. My dad follower her here from Greece back in the late 60s. She came in the late 50s. She’s the only blood relative we had living near us, here in Detroit. She was the pillar of our family, and a great woman. She’s going to be deeply missed. I am still in shock over her death. However, her death was very peaceful. We were all in the hospital room when her blood pressure and pulse slowly crept into a deep sleep.
Although it came as a surprise, the sight of her in the hospital was horrible, and seeing her at “peace” is a beautiful thing.

Hey friends. I’ve been pretty busy getting Axim Users Dot Com up and running. It’s evolved from a forum using Invision Board to a portal based on the Invision Board. It’s getting rave reviews so far, and a small community is forming.
I’ve had a headache with my Axim X5 and Dell’s customer service and tech support thus far. My directional pad sucks, as do many others with the Axim so far.
I’m still unemployed. Going on four months now. It’s getting kind of old. I HAVE been busy with side work lately, so that’s a good thing.

Okay, I’m an avid moviegoer. I live about 3/4 of a mile from a 30 screen MEGA theatre in Suburban Detroit. I would buy a subscription to the theatre if they sold one.
One of my favorite parts of going to the movies is the trailers they show before the movie starts rolling. This gets me excited about future film releases, and lets me know what to watch and what not to watch.
Lately, over the past few years, a new trend has started. First, there were commercials about the movie theatre before the trailers started. Then, there were commercials for popular products sold at the concessions stand, like Coke commercials. Now, there are commercials about the Army, automobiles, television shows, etc.
Is it me, or do we pay $5.00-$10.00 (depending on time, age, student, etc.) for a commercial free movie? That’s why we go to the movies and NOT watch them on network television. HBO doesn’t have commercials (except for HBO content), because we PAY for HBO (at least, SOME of us do). Why should there be commercials when we pay a premium price for 90 to 200 minutes of our entertainment time. These commercials add up to 10 minutes to our moviegoing experience.
